**seamole used "*roll picture*"**
**seamole rolled image** #31 surówka - that just means a type of salad made from only cold ingredients (vegetables and / or fruits) it makes no sense.

Fitting, because salads are for femoids and hom*osexuals.

Look man. I need my fiber somehow, and I don't want the veggies to ruin the flavor of my other food. I eat it with plenty of ranch though.

This tier list screwing sucks.
In the top 10 alone, 6 of them are poop tier salads.
Exceptions being moravska, the thai salads and ovcharska.
I really don't consider the thai stuff salads to be perfectly honest though.
I have never in my life had a greek salad I didn't hate except for maybe the greek tuna salad.

Noy to be passive aggressive, but they also forgot other salads, like "a whole roasted boar placed on a single leaf of lettuce" salad.

I don't know, it comes across as a bit passive aggressive, but I get your point.
So to you salad means that no meat should be involved? As far as that is concerned, we don't see it so strictly

Nah meat is optional. It's just that I googled several recipes for this salad, and it was literally:
Steps 1 to N: prepare breaded chicken strips
Step N+1: place the chicken on some lettuce ( optional )
Step N+2: add cherry tomatoes sliced in half (optional )
Step N+3: add pumpkin seeds if you feel fancy (optional again)
I am actually curious if the recipe you have is different. If you provide it I would like to try preparing it at home.

Have you already tried it yet? I would be interested in your verdict

I am having hard times finding pumkpinseed oil. Otherwise it tastes like normal breaded chicken on top of lettuce

Pity, the pumpkinseed oil really ties it together. Goes also great with any green, potato or bean based salads, very aromatic.

I finally managed to find some pumpkin oil. I tried the salad. It was OKish, but I don't think I'd place it higher than olivier salad.
Attempts:
1. A lot of lettuce. Few chicken strips. Some cherrries -> nice chicken salad. The pumpkin oil was a nice addition, but it added only a subtle improvement.
2. More chicken. -> feels almost like well marinated breaded chicken strips accompanied by lettuce garnish.
3. Salad dressing from online recipe -> average chicken salad from a shopping mall.
I have hard time placing it above a potato salad.

Wow first of all respect that you were persistent enough to find the oil and that you are reporting back to me here!
It's a pity that you didn't like the flavour, it certainly takes some getting used to

This is pretty widespread so there's many variants of this, but I would consider three things mandatory for a Backhendlsalat:
-) Breaded chicken strips (no bones)
-) Salad (original would be Grazer Krauthäuptel, but as substitute Rapunzel/Vogerlsalat (Valerianella locusta) works, but really any green salad that is not too bitter and available will work)
-) Pumpkinseedoil
Anything else like hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, spring onions, pumpkin seeds etc will make it more fancy. I recommend to use also apple cider vinegar. Prepare the salad and add the chicken strips when serving.

By salad, you mean lettuce, right? (I know a lot of countries where those 2 are synonyms for some reason)

The English term is from Italian, meaning "salted thing". I assume it first meant either salad or lettuce, and then through synecdoche came to refer to the other.
